Kathy Meisetschleager is a registered nurse (RN) and has worked with Prizm in the clinical outcomes area since early 2009. She is responsible for managing the patient phone audits within Prizm’s Clinical Outcome Report Card system. These calls are part of a randomized survey system to track patient outcomes after three to six months including the following: patient severity; patient symptoms; patient satisfaction; functional status post treatment; the percent of patients receiving therapy, injections and surgery; the percent of patients receiving a customized home exercise program; the percent of patients receiving a home remedy book; and percent of patients that return to work by patient severity at intake.
Before being involved with clinical outcome tracking at Prizm, Kathy was an RN for 30 years. She was a flight nurse within the Air Force where she worked on board aero-medical evacuation flights transporting patients to larger medical facilities. Within her roles in the Air Force she held several high-level management positions, including Commander of an 189-member medical squadron for two years, and Chief Nurse of a 120-member medical squadron for eight years. In these roles she was responsible for hiring and professional training of medical staff. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeast Louisiana University and a Master of Arts in Management from Webster University in St. Louis. |
